343 Industries and Microsoft do not have a locked on release date for Halo Infinite, despite some recent rumours suggesting that the game is coming during Holiday 2021.

Halo Infinite, one of the biggest games from Xbox Game Studios, which was supposed to be a launch title for Xbox Series X, does not have a locked release date, just yet. Earlier this week, a rumour surfaced online, stating that Halo Infinite will arrive in late 2021, which disappointed many fans who expect to see the game in early or mid-2021.

Luckily, Brian Jarrad,  Halo Community Director at 343 Industries confirmed that this is not the case simply because event the team does not have a release date for the game. "PSA: We haven't locked on release date for Halo Infinite yet. Anything you see on a retail site is just placeholder / speculation," Jarrad wrote on his Twitter.

Of course, it's still possible that Halo Infinite arrives sometime during holidays 2021 but at this very moment, 343 Industries can't confirm or deny that since internally, they don't have a set release date.

Many Halo fans are eagerly awaiting the news about the new release date and it's safe to say the would love if the game arrived in the first half of 2021 rather than later. However, the most important thing for Halo Infinite right now is that the developers use the additional time to improve the visuals and other aspects of the game.

We're sure Halo fans would prefer Halo Infinite that plays and looks great even if that means Holiday 2021 release date.
