Another one bites the dust. WB Games Montreal have announced that Gotham Knights sadly won't be coming out in 2021 as previously announced. The game has been pushed back to 2022 so it will take some time before we get our hands on it.
The developer shared a short message via their official Twitter channel, stating that they need more time to deliver the best possible experience to players who are eagerly awaiting the game. Additionally, the team revealed that they will share more about the game in the coming months.

"We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months."
If you are unfamiliar with Gotham Knights, it's an open-world, action RPG set in Gotham City. It allows either solo-play or two-player co-op and players get to control the Batman family - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin as they fight the iconic villains from the Batman franchise.
Gotham Knights is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S and PC.
