Dragon Ball Fighter Z's next DLC character will be Fused Zamasu, who was teased recently on Bandai Namco's Facebook page. He is the third DLC character joining the fray after Bardock and Broly, leaving five open spots for future characters.

Bandai Namco have promised there would be "at least eight" DLC characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ and Fused Zamasu is the third one to join the roster. The exact release date was not specified but it is implied that Fused Zamasu will arrive to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the same time.

It will be interesting to see him fighting Goku Black, considering it is the same person. For those not entirely familiar with Dragon Ball Super storyline, Zamasu used to be a Supreme Kai apprentice in Universe 10. Everything was good for everyone until he had a sparring match with Goku, got jealous and decided to pull a Flash on everyone.

By that I don't mean he showed his parts to random passengers, but instead decided to mess with timelines and ruin everything for everyone, across different universes. He possessed Universe 7's Goku and became Goku Black, traveled through time, met his unaltered counterpart, fused with him, becoming Fused Zamasu and sought to rule everything. Goku eventually managed to find Zeno, who proceeded to erase Zamasu from existance.

You may be wondering why the history lesson was necessary, but it's because no one managed to defeat Zamasu and Goku Black, even less so when they fused. Goku, Vegeta and Trunks repeatedly got pummeled in their attempts to put an end to Zamasu's evil reign. Everyone's saving grace was literally a divine intervention from Zeno, and since he's not present in FighterZ, it will be somewhat anti-climactic to see Krillin beating Zamasu to a pulp.

Then again, breaking canon didn't prove to be much of a problem before, since Yamcha can pummel Beerus down, without Krillin getting obliterated in process.

Just like the release date, Bandai Namco haven't specified Fused Zamasu's pricing either, but it will likely be the same as Bardock and Broly, standing at £3,99 or $4,99. Season Pass owners will, of course, get Fused Zamasu by default.
