Forza Horizon 6's Series 3 update is live, introducing the Italian Exotics Festival, new cars, AI improvements, bug fixes, and a full Rivals leaderboard reset.

Series 3 update for Forza Horizon 6 is now live on all platforms. The update introduces another series of Italian supercars into the game, gameplay tweaks, as well as a host of bug fixes. 

Playground Games has also announced that all Rivals leaderboards will be reset following discovery of a handful of exploits that allowed impossible lap times to top the boards. Playground Games reset every single Rivals leaderboard after fixing several exploits that allowed impossible lap times and outdated Drag Tire physics to take over leaderboards. 

While legitimate player lap times were removed with those gained by exploits, players will retain Collection Journal rewards they've earned by participating in Rivals events

Italian Exotics Festival Begins This Week 

Headlining the update is the Italian Exotics update that launches July 16 with the new Festival Playlist.

The three new-to-Horizon cars that can be unlocked as rewards are:

  • 2024 Lamborghini Temerario
  • 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
  • 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5

July 14 also sees the release of the Italian Passion Car Pack which adds four more Italian exotics to the game for owners of the Premium Edition or for purchase separately on Steam.

Some of the other additions are:

  • Italian Aftermarket Takeover featured in Horizon Stadium
  • Four new Car Pass cars
  • New EventLab props
  • Tank Latte Cup

Series 3 Patch Notes

Some of the gameplay and quality of life improvements included in the latest patch are:

  • Fine tuned AI to cut down on AI drivers flying into you at the entrance to corners
  • Audio improvements including separate Speech Volume and GPS controls
  • New exhaust audio for the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia and the 20 22 Ferrari 296 GTB
  • Bug fixes specific to cars and challenges
  • Rewind option available again in EventLab under Free Drive
  • Fixes for various bugs with PR Stunt, Hide & Seek, Convoy and Monthly Rivals
  • Visual enhancements to exhaust effects, paint finishes, custom liveries and character clothes

Save Issue Investigation Ongoing

Issues with save data impacting some users are still being investigated by the developers. Updates for Xbox Series X|S and PC users released yesterday now show a notification should saving conflict occur where your data may be lost, prompting you to recover your latest cloud save.

The update also included a fresh Community Calendar from Playground Games, showcasing weekly races, roleplay and hot lap challenges, and multiplayer events available through July 18.
