Epic Games have revealed next week's free games that will be available to everyone with Epic Games Store account. Instead of one, Epic will now give away two games - This War of Mine and Moonlighter. Both of these arrive on 25 July 2019.
Playdead’s dark and gritty puzzle-platformer Limbo is now available for free on Epic Games Store and you'll be able to grab it for the next seven days. The offer expires on 25 July 2019, when Limbo will be replaced by new titles.
Epic Games announced that instead of offering one game, like they traditionally do, next week, everyone with Epic Games Store account will be able to download two free games - the wartime survival from 11-bit studios This War of Mine and Digital Sun Games' action RPG with rogue-lite elements Moonlighter.
Epic made the decision to offer two games next week as they want to ensure that everyone gets at least one game. This War of Mine is rated M, which means it may be inaccessible to some users due to Epic Games Store's parental control settings. Adding Moonlighter to the mix means that everyone gets a free game next week.
Furthermore, Epic said that whenever the offer an M rated or PEGI-18 game in the future, they will also add another title that will be more accessible to players of all age, which is, to be fair, a pretty nice move by Epic.
Back to games now - if you're yet to play Limbo, we suggest you download it and give it a go. It's a truly unique platformer with stunning graphics and chilling atmosphere.
As for the next two freebies, well This War of Mine is another must-play. The game offers a different look at the experience of war and if you're a fan of hardcore survival games, This War of Mine could be a perfect pick.
Moonlighter is a shopkeeping RPG and if that, big bosses and pixel graphics are your cup of tea, then make sure to grab it once it becomes free next week.
This War of Mine and Moonlighter will be free on Epic Games Store from 25 July 2019 to 01 August 2019.
