Capcom have officially announced an enhanced version of Devil May Cry 5 for next-gen consoles. The Special Edition brings several new features and supports up to 120 FPS, 4K and ray tracing tech.
Last night, during the PlayStation 5 showcase, Capcom have officially revealed Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, their first game on the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition comes jam-packed with next-gen features such as ray tracing, high FPS and 4K resolution. On top of this, heavily requested arrival of Vergil as a playable character has also been confirmed. Current Devil May Cry 5 owners will also be able to get the Vergil content update for $4.99 on all platforms including PC via Steam.
The game also comes with enhanced 3D audio, fan-favourite modes such as Turbo Mode and Legendary Dark Knight Mode as well as Deluxe Edition and EX Color Pack content.
The Special Edition will officially launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with the digital version arriving as day one launch title for both consoles. Capcom also confirmed that they plan to release physical version but the release date is yet unknown for that one.
Capcom also explained that Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of the game will get ray tracing as part of a downloadable title update.
