CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG game Cyberpunk 2077 was announced in 2012. Shortly after that, the game's active Twitter account went silent. Cyberpunk Game broke its silence in order to say 'beep'.
CD Projekt Red first announced Cyberpunk 2077 in May, 2012. The Polish studio then proceeded to release a teaser trailer on 10 January 2013. The trailer itself went on to win a couple of awards before the Cyberpunk Game Twitter account tweeted about it and went silent on 05 December 2013.
In April 2017, CD Projekt Red ruffled some feathers when they applied for a . The dust quickly settled on the issue as the The Witcher developer took to Twitter to explain what's going on.
"We want to protect our hard work and we don’t plan on using the trademark offensively – It’s a self-defence measure only".

While that was happening, the Cyberpunk Game Twitter account remained tweet-less. All this history brings us to today: Cyberpunk 2077's Twitter account is giving some signs of life. Some beeps actually, but we don't care. It's adorable, see:
The Tweet quickly garnered much attention as the fans started frantically responding with boops and beeps of their own. It's all very cute. AltChar thoroughly dislikes the word "hype" but it happens to be at a really high level right about now. People were already excited for CD Projekt Red's new, well, project and things seem to have started moving in a very exciting direction.
