CD Projekt Red may have bought themselves more time when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, but they're definitely not wasting it. Speaking to Polish business portal Stooq, CDPR's Adam Kicinski said it's a singleplayer game and that some work has been done already.
He says that Cyberpunk 2077 has already been sent to rating agencies, but of course, this is not the final version.
Instead, we're looking at a game that's deemed adequate for play by non-studio personnel. The ratings are expected to be a done deal before the end of March 2020, which leaves ample time to polish Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of its September release.
CDPR don't plan on resting, though, and there's something cooking in the kitchen already.
"We have already been working on another single-player game, we have created a relatively clear concept that is waiting for further development. And this is already beginning to happen", Kicinski was quoted as saying.
Mind you, CDPR reiterated that they're aiming to make games within the "worlds" they have made thus far, meaning The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. Kicinski said that "all planned games are either The Witcher or Cyberpunk".
