Treyarch, Raven Software and Activision dropped the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which sets up an intriguing storyline and reveals launch date as November 13.
To be fair, the story was intriguing right from the teaser but the reveal trailer really deepens the conspiracy that's at the centre of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will drop players into the depths of the Cold War's volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. Ina gripping single-player Campaign, players will descend into the dark center of a global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason, and Hudson, as well as a new cast of operatives to stop a plot decades in the making", the description reads.
The dynamic developer duo announced a worldwide multiplayer reveal for September 9, so we'll soon get to see what awaits Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on the mutual battlefield. Treyarch and Raven mentioned the next generation of multiplayer and zombies experiences, so zombies enthusiasts won't be forgotten.
Activision decided not to share much more, and while they acted pretty quickly in snuffing out videos that had additional Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War info, some still managed to get out.
For instance, there are no stims so Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players get full auto health regeneration. Time to kill (TTK) is said to be shorter than Black Ops 4, which should make for a hectic and explosive experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War apparently has no specialists and loadouts will be more akin to Black Ops 4, or in other words - it won't have as much variety as Modern Warfare.
