Destiny 2 players have been asking for weapons similar to Luna's Howl that can be earned in non-Crucible activities and Bungie obliged with three. Well, two if you discount the Crucible one, leaving one each for Vanguard and Gambit.

First and foremost though, Bungie stuck with the tradition of pardoning turkeys and did their own poultry pardoning with the Colonel. "We know she is not a Turkey, but we wanted to make sure that whatever bird she may be, she remains off the menu."

As for Destiny 2's new weapons, first up is Loaded Question, a high-impact fusion rifle that comes with an explosion-happy perk - Reservoir Burst. Whenever your battery's full, the next burst will deal additional damage and make enemies go boom. While testing, Bungie apparently played around with a different kind of perk that didn't make the cut, along with a version with just the damage bonus, ultimately deciding on the current version that's pretty handy against clumped up enemies.

To earn Loaded question, players need to pick up the quest from Zavala and rack up 500 fusion rifle and 1000 arc kills in any strike or Nightfall, as well as 40 strike or Nightfall completions. Once done, head back and pick up your masterworked Loaded Question.

Destiny 2's second new weapon is Breakneck, a precision auto rifle that "was intended to be a workhorse for Gambit encounters, where killing large numbers of enemies very fast is the name of the game". Breakneck's unique perk is Onslaught, which increases your rate of fire as you stack Rampage.

To earn Brekneck, Destiny 2 players must pick up the quest from drifter and then rack up 500 auto rifle kills, 100 auto rifle multikills, defeat 150 challenging enemies and complete 40 Gambit matches. Once you're done, head back and pick up your shiny new toy.

Last but not least is the Crucible-oriented lightweight grenade launcher The Mountaintop. Its unique perk is Micro-Missile and it has the launcher fire in straight lines with seriously juiced up projectile speed. Moreover, the projectiles explode on contact with the environment unless you opt for sticky grenades.
