Battlefield Studios has released the official Season 1 trailer for Battlefield 6, outlining an ambitious post-launch content roadmap that begins next week and extends through the holiday season.
Blackwell Fields map and new 4v4 mode
Season 1 kicks off on October 28 with Rogue Ops, introducing Blackwell Fields, a new map designed for large-scale warfare encounters. The update also debuts Strikepoint, an intense 4v4 mode that promises tighter, more tactical engagements compared to the game's signature all-out combat.
Eastwood map arrives November 18
The seasonal content continues on November 18 with California Resistance, transporting players to Eastwood, a suburban Southern California battleground. This phase introduces Sabotage, an objective-focused mode challenging teams to destroy multiple sites within the time limit, adding strategic depth to the Battlefield 6 experience.
Winter Offensive concludes Season 1 on December 9, delivering holiday-themed content and transforming the Empire State map with wintery conditions. Battlefield Studios promises consistent seasonal updates moving forward, with regular additions of maps, modes, weapons, and equipment.
Battle Royale mode teaser
At the very end of the Season 1 trailer, EA are seemingly teasing a battle royale mode, showing four characters which implies quad mode and a map that is being eaten by fire from all directions - the circle, just like in Firestorm.
EA are probably going to officially reveal the battle royale mode very soon, which should attract even more players to this popular shooter.
