PlatinumGames' action RPG Babylon's Fall has appeared on SteamDB with a closed beta client which could suggest that the game is having an appearance at this year's E3 show.
If you totally forgot about Platinum Games' action RPG Babylon's Fall we don't blame you, the game's last reveal was at State of Play 2019, which was a long time ago for today's standards in the gaming industry.
In case you are not familiar with the project, Babylon's Fall seems to be an action RPG with a major emphasis on combat and combos but the trailer also gives us a small hint at potential Souls-like elements.
Anyway, the game recently surfaced on the Steam database website , which could mean that fresh news or even a trailer could be coming soon, potentially at the upcoming E3 or Summer Games Fest events.
As you can see from the screenshot, the listing is for a closed beta test for the game and it's been updated yesterday. That's basically the only important information that is included in the listing description.
At the moment, the publisher Square Enix have not commented on the matter but given that the company will be present at E3 2021, surely we can expect to hear more about the game and perhaps see some fresh gameplay. It certainly has been a while since the last reveal.
Babylon's Fall is announced for PS4 and PC via Steam.
Thanks, Gematsu.
