The latest season of Apex Legends, Season 19, has arrived with its usual flurry of cosmetic offerings and in-game content packs.
Being a free-to-play game, Apex Legends relies on revenue from microtransactions, often presented through special events like Collection Events.
These events provide limited-time cosmetics, including highly coveted Heirlooms and Prestige Skins. The Uprising Collection Event is the latest addition to Respawn's ever-expanding lineup of cosmetics.
Uprising Collection Event
Data miners have unveiled the details of the first Collection Event for Season 19, aptly named "Uprising." This event is poised to introduce an array of exciting content, including Loba's highly anticipated Prestige skin and a plethora of fresh cosmetic skins. Moreover, an all-new Limited-Time Mode (LTM) will accompany the event, promising even more action-packed gameplay.
Loba's Prestige Skin
Following Revenant's Prestige skin, Loba will step into the spotlight to receive her own prestigious cosmetic treatment. Players can unlock this exclusive skin by collecting all 24 items featured in the Collection Event. Similar to past Prestige skins, it will consist of three tiers and include a unique finisher.
This skin has been eagerly awaited, and now we finally have a glimpse of its stunning design. Furthermore, the Apex Lycanthrope Prestige Skin will come with a distinctive Skydive trail, adding a touch of flair to your aerial entrances.
New Skins
The Uprising Collection Event will also introduce a wide array of unique skins for various Legends. As customary, players can acquire these through Uprising Collection Packs, allowing you to customize and personalize your favorite characters with these exclusive cosmetics.
New LTM (limited time mode): Rev Army
Intriguingly, there are leaks about a new Limited-Time Mode titled "Rev's Army." These event leaks suggest that this LTM will offer a blend of survival and battle royale elements.
Two teams will engage in timed rounds, with players striving to survive the relentless onslaught of Revenant's Army until evacuation becomes available.
An exciting twist lies in the event mechanics – if a player falls, they'll switch sides and join the army, shifting the dynamics as they work to eliminate remaining players before they can make their escape.
