Heirlooms are the most valuable and uncommon goods in Apex Legends. Every player wishes to obtain at least one of these Heirlooms for their favorite in-game characters. However, these rare cosmetics are difficult to get.
Unless you are an extremely lucky player, you will need to spend a lot of money during EA's Collection Events or open a lot of packs before you can get your hands on one of them. In Season 15, some players are receiving free Heirlooms without spending any money or opening any packets.
Even if this is a bug, Respawn has the power to ban you for this. It's unclear whether Respawn is aware of the Heirloom problem. However, given the seriousness of the situation, developers will definitely address this in a future release.
Players have reported the way they got these items. First, they get a connectivity issue, and the currencies in the right corner start flashing.
When a player clicks the legends tab and the new hero Catalyst to check out skins, it is indicated that an item has been purchased.
When they opened a character’s tab, they saw that they had earned the new Heirloom items for it despite not meeting the criteria to purchase that item.
A lot of players said that it is not worth it to risk your account getting banned over a glitch to get the locked Heirlooms. So, it is highly recommended not to do it. It is almost certain that the developers will take action and try to fix this problem.
