Asobo Studio's critically acclaimed 14th-century narrative adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence will be free on PC via Epic Games Store from August 5 to August 12, 2021.

As you may know, Epic Games Store is giving away at least two free games each week. From time to time, Epic Games include some big titles and for the next week, they have one of the best games of 2019 - Asobo Studios' A Plague Tale: Innocence.

In case you are not familiar with this critically acclaimed adventure, A Plague Tale: Innocence follows the story of Amicia and her little brother Hugo who are hunted by Inquisition soldiers in rat-infested France during the 14th century's plague.

If that sounds like your cup of tea, A Plague Tale: Innocence will be available for free from Thursday, August 5 to Thursday, August 12, 2021. This is not a limited offer or promo, once you add the game to your library, it will be there forever.

A Plague Tale was recently offered for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers too, while Xbox gamers can enjoy it via Game Pass. This is certainly a great way to introduce players to the story since Asobo have a sequel,  A Plague Tale: Requiem , coming up in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
