Metro devs are working on a brand new IP, and thanks to some recent job listings, we have first details about this AAA project, which seems to be another shooter.
4A Games are currently on a hiring spree for their new projects which include a brand new Metro game as well as a brand new IP. Thanks to a couple of job listings that we've spotted on the developer's website, we have some interesting new details about this new IP, which is currently in development.
According to the Environment Concept Artist job listing, 4A Games are looking for someone to create visually distinctive concepts that create "a believable new game universe".
On top of this, 4A Games prefer a candidate with a "passion for FPS games" which suggests that the new IP will be another shooter game. Another hint is a preference for "realistic but artful and atmospheric style". This is something that Metro games are known for and it seems 4A Games will continue down the same path.
Additionally, the responsibility of the Senior Technical Artist would be to "create the most lively video game environments ever seen".
Last but not least tidbit of info is regarding the engine. The new game is built on 4A Games Engine as per the Technical Designer job opening .

At the moment, the official info about this mysterious project is pretty scarce but hopefully, we won't have to wait for too long to see some gameplay and trailers.
