February 2025 promises to be blockbuster, with a host of sequels, new IPs and highly-awaited titles coming to stores for gamers.
First up, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arrives on February 2. This historical RPG promises to deliver an even more immersive medieval world, replete with intricate storylines, realistic combat, and breathtaking visuals.
Avowed comes to the epic adventurers on February 9. This new first-person Obsidian Entertainment RPG is set in the world of Eora - a home of amazing fantasy landscapes with deeply featured narrative gameplay.
At the end of the month, the action lovers have a treat in store as Monster Hunter Wilds comes onto screens on February 28th. The latest entry in Capcom's beloved franchise expands upon the series' open-world mechanics with new biomes, monsters, and multiplayer features that keep players on their toes.
Furthermore, strategists prepare for the arrival of Civilization 7 on February 21st. An iconic series, this latest installment shows the evolution toward new AI, engaging dynamic diplomacy and more ways in which you should be able to shape a civilization's course.

Midnight Murder Club

It summons a player into the Midnight Murder Club: an elite member service that arms people with nothing but a flashlight and a revolver, placing them in a mansion with utterly black halls.
The players put on masks over their faces to maintain secrecy, keeping each other from recognizing one another as they will play games with perceptions of each other while taking clear shots.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Missions and objectives are able to be managed in different ways, with NPCs and communities reacting respectively. In turn, the reactions to the Player character will influence his daily life and character development.
The three skills Oratory, Charisma and Intimidation, that were applicable in dialogues with NPCs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance have been supplemented by Appearance, Coercion and Dominate in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
Rift of the NecroDancer

This title does something a little different, as it takes the gameplay mechanics of a rhythm game and fuses it with other forms of gameplay styles.
Players will be matching beats to defeat challenges in their way to proceed with the game's engaging storyline.
Civilization 7

The player uses various units, representing military and civilian units, to explore the map, grow their civilization through additional cities, culture, and technology, gather resources from the geography around their settlements, and defeat threats from foreign civilizations also attempting to grow.
The player can win the game through a range of possible victory conditions, ranging from peaceful solutions to full military domination of the world.

Tomb Raider IV-V-VI Remastered

Like the previous Tomb Raider titles, each game features archaeologist-adventurer Lara Croft exploring a majority of locations in search of ancient artifacts, and is presented from a third-person perspective.
As with the original games, Lara is equipped with two pistols with infinite ammo by default and can run, walk (which prevents her from falling off ledges), look around areas, climb, monkey swing using suitable overhead surfaces, crawl through narrow spaces, roll, and jump across gaps.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage (Tape 1)

Unlike many other narrative based games with an ensemble of main characters, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will only have one playable character.
Koch said the decision was made because having perspectives change between characters can cause a disconnect for players "from what's happening on the screen."

Players can use magic, melee weapons, and firearms to defeat enemies. The game features a variety of spells, allowing players to perform feats such as freezing enemies in ice, or ensnaring them in an Entangle spell.
Spells can be used in conjunction with other weapons to create combos, such as using sword to crush through a frozen enemy.
Players can quickly switch between multiple setups, including dual pistols, dual wands, a two-handed axe, or a sword (or wand, gun or shield) and shield combination. The game features several skill trees, which allow players to unlock more powerful abilities as they progress in the game
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Similar to older Like a Dragon titles, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii utilizes a beat 'em up combat system. Majima has access to two fighting styles: Mad Dog, which is Majima's signature speed-focused style; and Sea Dog, which allows Majima to wield dual cutlasses and pistols, as well as other pirate tools.
A new addition to the combat system is the ability to jump and perform mid-air combos. Outside of regular combat, players can also assemble a pirate crew and upgrade their own ship, the Goromaru, which they can use to explore the open sea and engage in combat with other pirate ships.
PGA Tour 2K25

This year’s edition introduces TrueForce Swing Mechanics, offering a more realistic and intuitive control system for both experienced players and newcomers.

Monster Hunter Wilds

Along with other resources collected in the game world, the player can then craft new armour, weapons, consumables, and other gear which allow them to fight more difficult monsters.
The game world features several biomes, each of which is a large open world for players to freely explore. In Wilds, players can seamlessly move between the larger world and their hunter village where they can cook food, replenish their supplies, and craft new gear. Quests can also be started whenever players locate their targets in the wilds.
The game supports four-player cooperative multiplayer, though players who prefer to play solo can enlist the help of three support hunters controlled by artificial intelligence to help them.
