Japanese gaming giant Sega have officially announced the acquisition of Farnham-based Two Point Hospital developer Two Point Studios. The studio becomes the first acquisition stemming directly from Sega Europe's Searchlight program.

Apex Legends update, which arrived to PlayStation 4 yesterday is causing all sorts of problems for some players. The patch was meant to update PS Plus skin in the PlayStation Store, not in-game, but instead, it's crashing the consoles.

Tencent Holding Ltd officially shut down their test version of PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds in China and replaced it with a similar, patriotic shooter, which, unlike PUBG has regulatory approval to generate revenue from microtransactions.

Niantic officially announced that Detective Pikachu event is now live in Pokemon Go and it will run until Friday, 17 May 2019. The event will add Pokemon from the film to raids and also increase the spawn rate of these Pokemon in the wild.

Playground Games have another batch of free content ready to arrive this week to Forza Horizon 4. In Update 9, players will get one new supercar, new Horizon story, game mode named Custom Adventure, season events, trials and more.

Battlefield V's Firestorm has attracted more than 1 million players and boosted the game's player count by 60 per cent it's been confirmed by EA in their earnings call. Firestorm is also the biggest Battlefield live service event ever.

Black Ops 4's new game modes Prop Hunt and Bounty Hunter will be changed in one of the upcoming updates it's been confirmed by Treyarch. Props will now take drown damage and in Bounty Hunter, Spectre will get a nerf to his roll speed.

Capcom have officially confirmed date and time for their next special broadcast, in which they will detail Monster Hunter: World's next, huge Spring update. The live stream will start on Thursday, 09 May 2019, 4:00 PM PT / 1:00 AM CET.
