NetherRealm Studios, the developer of the brutal fighter Mortal Kombat 11 have shared a first look at the game's next DLC character, named Nightwolf. The short teaser on Twitter shows Nightwolf pulling off a Lightning from Above move.

Marvel's Avengers private gameplay from San Diego Comic-Con 2019 has appeared on YouTube. It's a short video and it shows Thor causing proper havoc with his mighty Mjolnir hammer. Thor also executes a variety of combo and special attacks.

Infinity Ward released the first gameplay footage of their upcoming shooter Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The gameplay has been recorded in 4K on PS4 and it shows a couple of matches of Gunfight mode, which was streamed on Twitch last week.

Epic Games have revealed next week's free games that will be available to everyone with Epic Games Store account. Instead of one, Epic will now give away two games - This War of Mine and Moonlighter. Both of these arrive on 25 July 2019.

Monster Hunter: World has sold more than 13 million copies, the publisher Capcom officially confirmed. To celebrate the latest achievement, every player will get a special pack with five items starting on 25 July and ending on 29 August.

Ubisoft rolled out a couple of balancing changes on Rainbow Six Siege test server this week. The tweaks include a major nerf to ballistic shields, which will now only injure the opponent, instead of killing them. Also, Glaz has been buffed.

Sea of Thieves has received Black Powder Stashes, the first limited-time event in a series of planned monthly content updates. The update introduces new challenges, Mercenary Commendations and rewards with some gameplay balancing tweaks.

In the final update for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Ubisoft have introduced a battle royale mode named Mercenaries. The mode supports up to 8 players and is very similar to Survival mode in The Division. It's available now on all platforms.

CD Projekt Red’s Alvin Liu has talked about difficulty levels in Cyberpunk 2077 in his latest interview. Liu said that the game will feature a hardcore mode that will lose the UI completely and also change some other gameplay features.
