It's the first weekend in November and Pokemon GO has the Trainers covered with the start of the Festival of Lights, and the Pokemon GO debut of Dedenne, the Antenna Pokemon.

Trainers have some exciting things to look forward to in Pokemon GO this weekend: November 5 until November 8. 

Festival of Lights

Diwali is currently in vogue and Pokemon GO players can join the celebration of light's triumph over darkness starting today, November 5 at  8:00 p.m. local time.

Event bonuses to look forward to:

  • Friendship levels will increase twice as fast.
  • Gifts will provide increased rewards.
  • You’ll be able to open up to 45 Gifts per day.

The first few days of the Festival will be filled with firework displays in the game. There will be a new t-shirt inspired by the event available at the in-game shop, along with some themed stickers.

Trainers in India

Make sure you reserve the hours between 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on November 7, 2021, for a special location-based event. 

Details:

  • Blitzle and Dedenne will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
  • Double Catch Candy bonus.

The Festival of Lights in Pokemon GO will end on November 14.

Raids

Five-star Raids:

Friday, November 5, 2021, to Tuesday, November 16, 2021:

  • Cobalion
  • Terrakion
  • Virizion

All three Pokemon will also have their Shiny versions appearing in the wild. Catch the listed Pokemon to get creatures that know the Attack Sacred Sword.

Mega Raids:

Friday, November 5, 2021, until Tuesday, November 16, 2021:

  • Mega Manectric

A Shiny version of Mega Manectric will also be running around in the wild.
