Festival of Lights
Diwali is currently in vogue and Pokemon GO players can join the celebration of light's triumph over darkness starting today, November 5 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Event bonuses to look forward to:
- Friendship levels will increase twice as fast.
- Gifts will provide increased rewards.
- You’ll be able to open up to 45 Gifts per day.
The first few days of the Festival will be filled with firework displays in the game. There will be a new t-shirt inspired by the event available at the in-game shop, along with some themed stickers.
Trainers in India
Make sure you reserve the hours between 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on November 7, 2021, for a special location-based event.
Details:
- Blitzle and Dedenne will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
- Double Catch Candy bonus.
The Festival of Lights in Pokemon GO will end on November 14.

- Terrakion
- Virizion
All three Pokemon will also have their Shiny versions appearing in the wild. Catch the listed Pokemon to get creatures that know the Attack Sacred Sword.
Mega Raids:

- Mega Manectric
A Shiny version of Mega Manectric will also be running around in the wild.
