This weekend in Pokemon GO, Trainers can encounter Kyurem and Mega Steelix in Raids, enjoy the first part of Pokemon GO Holidays and be a part of the biggest Community Day of the year.
Five-star Raids
Trainers can go up against the latest addition to the Pokemon GO scene: Kyurem (Shiny version available) will be in five-star Raids until Friday, December 31, 2021.
Mega Raids
Mega Steelix (Shiny version also available) will keep appearing in Mega Raids until December 23, 2021.
Pokemon GO Holidays: Part 1
The first part of the seasonal event is already live and will go on until Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

December Community Day
The one to catch them all. The upcoming Community day will happen on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time and Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
December 2021 Community Day Bonuses:
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event.
- 2× Catch XP
- 2× Catch Stardust
Special bonuses
The following bonuses go live today, December 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. local time and will be available until Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. local time:
- 25 per cent reduced Stardust cost for trades
- 1 extra special trade per day
Pokemon Storage and Item Bag Cap Increase
December 2021 Community Day will bring Pokemon storage and Item Bag increase. The additional slots for Item Bag and Pokemon Storage are now available for purchase at the in-game shop.
- Pokemon Storage Expansion Cap: 5,000 -> 5,500
- Item Bag Expansion Cap: 4,000 -> 4,500
