Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Part 2 and more this week August 9 - August 15, 2021

Pokemon GO's Trainers have a full week ahead. Ultra Unlock Part 2, PokeCoin Bundles, new Featured Pokemon, Raids, Spotlight hours and more coming this week.

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Part 2 - Space

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Part 2 is already underway. The show will end on Tuesday, August 17.

Pokemon appearing in raids until Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time:

  • Palkia (+Shiny) in five-star raids.
  • Alakazam, Kangaskhan (+Shiny), and Heracross (+Shiny) in three-star raids.
  • Unown U (+Shiny), West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Elgyem, and Espurr in one-star raids.

More frequently in the wild: Clefairy, Munna, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Elgyem, Heatmor, Durant, and more.

Regional-exclusive Pokemon hatching from 7 km Eggs: West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Heatmor, and Durant.

Timed Research event is now available until Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers who complete the research will be treated to an encounter with a certain event-themed Pokemon.

Pokemon GO weekly PokeCoin Bundles - August 2021 

Monday, August 9, brings the second one-time bundle containing a Remote Raid Pass and other items. You can find it at the in-game shop each Monday.

Featured Pokemon in Raids this week

We said goodbye to Dialga and welcomed Palkia and its Shiny version to the Pokemon GO five-star raids. 

  • Palkia will be available until Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

 Saturday, August 14, 2021, and Sunday, August 15, 2021, will bring a two-day eggstravaganza featuring Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon.
