Pocket Pair's Palworld is a survival with unique in-game mechanics. The Wanted Status is one of these in-game mechanics that antagonise players.
While visiting the Sanctuaries on the outskirts of the map in Palworld, if you harm a protected Pal to capture it, you will instantly get slapped with a wanted status. If you harm a merchant at the trade hubs or villages, the same thing will happen.
The Wanted Status in Palworld is tied to PIDF, the law enforcement agency of Palpagos Island. The PIDF is a relentless force, and they will stop at nothing until you are subdued. But we have some easy ways to escape the wanted status.
Retreat to Your Base
If you get stuck with a Wanted Status, quickly navigate to a fast travel point and transfer to your base. The PIDF officers will also travel with you. So, as soon as you reach your base, head to your Paldeck and deploy your strongest Pals.
Now, when the PIDF officers approach your base to kill you, the Pals at your base will quickly mow them down. However, lower-level Pals at your base might get incapacitated while fighting the PIDF officers as they are Level 40 enemies.
We recommend supporting your Pals from long-range, as the PIDF officers will instantly shoot you down with their Assault Rifles if you get too close to their proximity. Also, try not to use explosives near your base, as your base structures will instantly blow up or get burned unless they are made of Stone or Metal.
Get Yourself Killed
Get on a flying mount and fly to a fast travel point. When you reach the fast travel point, fly straight up and jump off your flying Pal. Don't deploy your glider; you will instantly die when you hit the ground.
Well, if you're wondering how you will return to your dropped loot, just go to the nearest fast travel point from your respawn point. Then fast travel near the place where you dropped your loot.
Getting killed this way is the easiest way to escape a wanted status without repercussions, as if you die in a sanctuary or near a hostile area, getting your loot back might become a harder challenge than defeating a legendary Pal.
So, try not to commit criminal or illegal work in Palworld unless you have enough gear to deal with the PIDF officers. However, if you commit a crime, remove the witnesses before PIDF officers start appearing, and you will be good to go.
