Palworld is a survival game developed by the Japanese game studio Pocket Pair. With a unique take on the action-survival genre, Palworld takes players to the Palpagos Islands to capture Pals and defeat all tower bosses.
In Palworld, you must capture Pals with a Pal Sphere. However, most Pals will fight their way out of your Pal sphere. If you're facing the same issue where Pals escape your sphere no matter how much you try, here's a guide to increasing your capture power in Palworld.
How to Increase Capture Power
You must first build a Statue of Power in your base to increase your Capture Power. Here are all the materials required to craft one and how you can acquire them:
- Stone x 20
- Stone is the most available material in Palworld. You can obtain Stone from the ground through mining and the Stone Pit in your base.
- Paldium Fragment x 10
- Paldium Fragments can be obtained through mining Paldium deposits spread across the map. In your base, Paldium Fragment is obtainable through the Crusher.
After building the Statue of Power, approach it and select Enhance Player Stats. You will need Effigy to enhance your capture power. Here's how much you need to reach the max Capture Level:
| Capture Power | Upgrade Cost |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 1 Effigy |
| Level 2 | 4 Effigies |
| Level 3 | 7 Effigies |
| Level 4 | 11 Effigies |
| Level 5 | 15 Effigies |
| Level 6 | 19 Effigies |
| Level 7 | 23 Effigies |
| Level 8 | 27 Effigies |
| Level 9 | 31 Effigies |
| Level 10 | 35 Effigies |
You must collect 173 Effigies from the wild to reach the maximum Capture Power. The maximum Capture Power will allow you to tame Alpha Pals like Jormuntide, Jetragon, Frostallion and Blazamut in no time.
So, don't miss out on the effigies when you see them out in the wild. The level cap on the Capture Power might increase in a future update when stronger Pals are added to the game.
