Palworld's gameplay revolves around players gathering resources, making gear and capturing Pals. Palpagos Islands has hundreds of Pals with different elemental power and level caps.
While beginner Pals can easily be captured with normal spheres, Alpha and Boss Pals require different Pal Spheres depending on their level cap and elemental power. So, if you're confused about why a certain Pal is not getting into your Pal Sphere, here's a guide to every Sphere type and how to make them.
All Sphere Types in Palworld
There are six types of Pal Spheres in Palworld. These Spheres are craftable through Sphere factories in your base. Here's how to make all Pal Sphere types in Palworld:
Pal Sphere
Pal Sphere is the basic Sphere you get after arriving Palpagos Islands. This sphere is effective against low-level starter region Pals. Stonger Pals will deflect this Sphere even if you have max capture power.
Pal Sphere is unlocked at Level 2 and can be made with Sphere Workbench. Here's what you need to make a Pal Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 1
- Wood x 5
- Stone x 5
Mega Sphere
Mega Sphere is unlocked at Level 14. This sphere can capture almost all basic Pals without any damage dealt, as well as a few large Pals. Mega Sphere can be made through the Sphere Workbench. Here's what you need to make a Mega Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 1
- Ingot x 1
- Wood x 7
- Stone x 7
Giga Sphere
The Giga Sphere is unlocked at Level 20. This sphere is effective against Pals in the Levels 1-25. Stronger Pals must be at low health points to be captured by the Giga Sphere. Giga Sphere is craftable in the Sphere Workbench. Here's what you need to make a Giga Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 2
- Ingot x 3
- Wood x 10
- Stone x 10
Hyper Sphere
The Hyper Sphere is unlocked at Level 27. This sphere is effective against Pals in the Levels 1-30. Hyper Sphere can easily capture Mount Obsidian Pals like Vanwyrm, Pyrin, Pyrin Noct and Incineram.
Hyper Sphere requires a Sphere Assembly Line. Here's what you need to make a Hyper Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 3
- Ingot x 3
- Wood x 10
- Cement x 2
Ultra Sphere
The Ultra Sphere is unlocked at Level 35. This sphere is effective against almost all late-game Pals except the Legendary Pals - Jetragon, Frostallion, Blazamut, Necromus and Paladius.
Ultra Sphere requires a Sphere Assembly Line II, which is quite expensive if you don't have a mining farm. Here's how to make an Ultra Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 5
- Refined Ingot x 5
- Carbon Fiber x 2
- Cement x 3
Legendary Sphere
The Legendary Sphere is unlocked at Level 44. This sphere can almost instantly capture all normal Pals. Any Alpha or Legendary Pal can also be captured once their health bar is depleted through combat.
Legendary Sphere requires a Sphere Assembly Line II. Here's how to make a Legendary Sphere:
- Paldium Fragment x 10
- Pal Metal Ingot x 5
- Carbon Fiber x 3
- Cement x 5
