Given that Lies of P, Neowiz Games' latest RPG, is a challenging Souls-like game, its levelling mechanics boast a high degree of complexity. In this game, you'll have the opportunity to toughen up your character in various different ways.
When your character reaches a sufficient level of strength, you'll gain the ability to confront and triumph over even the most formidable enemies the game throws your way. Conversely, falling behind in levels often results in frequent and frustrating deaths.
A fundamental question emerges: How can you determine if your character has reached an adequate level, and what level is your character anyway? If this information has eluded you thus far, we have a guide available to assist you in this matter.
How to check your character's level
When we discuss evaluating your character's level, we are not referring to the numerical values you encounter when upgrading your character or his equipment, nor the statistics available in the Character's Info section. In this context, we are specifically referring to the overall level presented by a particular number.
The issue of checking your character's level may pose more challenges for Lies of P players on consoles compared to those on PC. This is because the location where you can access your character's level is within the menu where you exit the game and return to the start menu. Given that console players frequently use the quick resume feature and almost never exit to the main menu when quitting the game, this process doesn't align with the typical console gaming experience.
Also, at the top of the Character's Info tab, you'll notice a heart-shaped icon with a number beside it, that number is your level as well, but since it doesn't refer to level in any way, that can be confusing.
To check your character's level, you'll need to access the menu, proceed to the settings, and then navigate to the final tab labelled "Exit." Within this tab, you'll find information displaying your player's level. This knowledge can prove very useful when trying to toughen up your character for some harder encounters.
