LCS spring split mid-season review: best performers

With the first half of the spring split behind us, we've decided to give our mid-season shout-outs to the best performers in each of the five roles. Note that because Cloud9 have had a perfect split, they won't be included in our list since they would probably top the spot for each role.

G2 and Origen - chaos and creativity are the two words to describe these teams. G2's troll pick rate dropped this game as they drafted a somewhat normal composition. Sadly for Origen, a small mistake like missing an Orianna ult is enough for G2 to snatch the win.

On the first day of week 7 of the LEC we didn't see any surprises as all the favorites were victorious. XL's hopes for playoffs are slowly falling apart. G2 once again proved to be OG's kryptonite as you can read in our match of the day piece.

The match of the week met our expectations as we've seen everything from tense team fights to Baron steals. Fnatic built themselves a sizable gold advantage leading into the mid-to-late game. In the end, one team fight proved to be enough for G2 to snatch the win.
