PlayStation Classic game line up has surprisingly few fillers

Sony have finally unveiled the full line up of games for their Honey I Shrunk the PlayStation project and the PS Classic comes with a bunch of the platform's heavyweights such as Battle Arena, GTA, Metal Gear Solid, RE and 17 more.

We knew from the beginning that the little guy will come with 20 games preloaded, it was just a matter of selection apparently. Sony initially confirmed Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms and Jumping Flash!.

I've got to admit though, I didn't really expect Sony to throw in most of their big guns from the father of all PlayStations but they did. As you can see, Grand Theft Auto is there, the one that many of our younger readers probably won't even recognise.

Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid is there and so is Konami's Resident Evil Director's Cut. If you were craving for Syphon Filter's return, you might as well indulge with the Classic, especially since the studio has its hands full with Days Gone having recently delayed it to April 2019.

In general, if you remember playing the original PlayStation, you'll recognise almost each of this as a true classic, sans perhaps a few fillers. PS Classic features a nice mixture of games as well, going from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six to the likes of Destruction Derby.

Battle Arena Toshinden is there and other than being just fun, it happens to be the fighting game that started the whole fighting in 3D space and sidesteping concept. Cool Boarders 2 is yet another highlight, being an incredibly fun game at the time.

Sony are apparently overwhelmed with the community's response to the announcement and they've obviously made sure that the game line up didn't disappoint. You can find the full list below.
