MAD Lions are sort of new to LEC but kind of not. They gained the spot because the parent company of both MAD and Splyce shut the latter brand down after World Championship 2020.
However, the roster is completely new except for Humanoid, who remained on the team so it might be unrealistic to expect performances that got SPY into the quarterfinals of League of Legends World Championship 2019.
