Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters' fans got a gameplay reveal trailer back in September, so now it's time for another short video meant to tease out one very powerful threat. Right on time for Halloween as well, because these creatures would feel right at home at some of the scariest haunted houses.
Today's spotlight was squarely focused on the plague-bearing Death Guard, heralds of Nurgle’s foulest poxes and corruption, and one of the main threats players will face in the game's main campaign storyline. They were once a legion of Space Marines but they decided to abandon the service of the Emperor of Mankind and became corrupted.
Now called the Death Guard, they are Nurgle’s influence personified. The members of the Death Guard are cursed to rot beneath their power armour, all the while spreading foul diseases.
The heroic Grey Knights will have to face off against the Death Guard in order to stop the Bloom’s spread.
