Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition will be up for grabs along with 20 other video games as a part of Amazon Prime Day 2018 celebration. Players can get these games for a limited time with Twitch Prime subscription or even for free.
I believe that neither Obsidian Entertainment nor Pillars of Eternity need any introductions due to the developer's fame and the latter one's critical acclaim that spawned a sequel, which was also critically acclaimed. The best part about the 21 games offered by Twitch Prime for this month is that another Obsidian gem is within the bundle and its name is Tyranny.
Tyranny was made by the same mould as Pillars of Eternity apparently, as both games are story driven games with deep RPG elements and real-time-with-pause combat systems. Both games were critically acclaimed, and rightly so. Tyranny bears 86 per cent positive review rating on Steam, across 4522 reviews at the time of writing.
There is a hitch however, as Amazon's system doesn't work like PS Plus or Humble Monthly - you can't subscribe at any point in the month and get the whole bunch of the games. In order to snatch Pillars of Eternity, you need to access Twitch Prime before 04 July 2018 ends and all the other games follow a similar pattern. You can see the full schedule for claiming games on Twitch's .
Metal Slug 3 and Brutal Legend are also attention grabbing takeaways that players might like, each with their own niche. Metal Slug 3 is of course a part of the legendary side scrolling shooter series that did wonky animations and looks long before Fortnite. Brutal Legend is an open world game that's almost the definition of paradise for metalheads.
Double Fine Productions
I say almost because it falls short of being great at times simply because it tries too hard not to take itself too serious. That said, the game does contain funny moments and cameos from the legends such as Ozzy Osbourne and the late Lemmy Kilmister.
