Transient is now available for PC on Steam. PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game are slated for release in 2021. Transient is currently 15 per cent off on Steam.
Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developers Stormling Studios have officially released their Lovecraftian Cyberpunk thriller - Transient. Just in time for Halloween!
Transient becomes available for PC via Steam today, October 28. The game will be priced at $19.99 - plus (minus, rather) a limited launch discount of 15 per cent.
The creators of Conarium and the Darkness Within series have brought to life a distant, post-apocalyptic future wherein Randolph Carter, a member of a notorious hacker-for-hire group called ODIN, accidentally stumbles across the terrifying truth, a truth that might tear apart his own sanity and question his very existence.
The developers aimed for a blend of H.P. Lovecraft’s cosmic existentialism and a grim, dystopian cyberpunk setting. Transient adapts and expands upon seminal pieces of both genres to strike the balance between familiar and fresh.
The players will have a vast world to traverse and explore - from the forgotten wastes of Kor Shehr to the mean streets of Domed City Providence.
- H.P. Lovecraft meets Cyberpunk. Probe deep into an obscure dystopian world and hold firm to your consciousness while you explore enigmatic networks where change is permanent but the reality is only temporary.
- To find out what is going on, traverse between real and artificially created worlds
- Ominous and lush graphics created with Unreal Engine 4
- Secrets and easter eggs
- A haunting and atmospheric soundtrack.
Transient launches on October 28 for PC. PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game will be available in 2021.
