It looks like Resident Evil mania has taken over everyone these days as Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is getting its own Resident Evil 25 Anniversary event.
"The Division and S.T.A.R.S. join forces for a brand-new apparel event. Earn outfits, weapon skins, and other rewards inspired by the Resident Evil series! The Division 2 x Resident Evil 25th Anniversary Event will be available in-game Feb 2-15", Ubisoft wrote in the event description.
One must admit there aren't many gaming crossovers that cold fit so snuggly into another's narrative as Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and Resident Evil. Granted, the latter tends to veer away into more supernatural waters, but other than that, they're totally compatible, for the lack of a better word.
When it comes to cosmetics, The Division 2 x Resident Evil 25th Anniversary Event is said to feature 21 items for the full catalogue. We suppose many of them will be unveiled before the event starts, but more on that as they pop up.
As you could've seen on the cover image, there are login rewards involved in the event as well. Getting into the game during the event gets you a Racoon Police Department uniform, so that you can fly your RE-loving colours in-game.
The trailer isn't overly long, but it's actually packed with important info, the first one being the logo displayed on the bottom of the chopper.
Racoon City's police uniforms are prominently displayed but one of the key bits comes at the end. Yes, it's Hunk, Umbrella's grim reaper, whose skin pack simply has to be among the cosmetics for The Division 2 x Resident Evil 25th Anniversary Event.
