Are you ready, kids?
THQ Nordic's SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
The classic game has been remade to feature high-end visuals, modern resolutions and carefully polished gameplay as well as content that was cut from the original game like the Robo Squidward boss fight and more.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated features a coop multiplayer mode as well. You can battle the evil Robo-Squidward and all his robots across more than twenty islands with a friend in either local couch or online co-op mode.
Rehydrated’s multiplayer mode also features four additional playable characters: Mr Krabs, Gary, Squidward and Robo-Plankton. Each character comes with their own set of moves and attacks.
Much like the original game, Rehydrated features tons of characters and a lot of the irreverent humour from the TV series and upcoming feature film. Every iconic location in the game has multiple segments, a unique vibe, special puzzles and individual story plots.
You can play as SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy, and use their unique skills to traverse certain parts of each level. For example - only SpongeBob can use his underpants to bungee jump and only Sandy has a lasso to swing and glide through the game world.
