Cloud 9 are replacing their AD carry and resident cosplayer, Zachari "Sneaky" Scuderi. Scuderi was with the team since 2013, participating in seven World Championships with them in the process.
The news first broke out from , rather than Cloud 9 or any of the affected players. While some may have considered this to be a rumour for that reason alone, Sneaky recently confirmed the roster change while streaming League of Legends.
Cloud 9 apparently offered him a chance to stay in the team and compete for the starting position but according to Sneaky, there was some discord among the teammates as he he didn't feel like competing for the spot "with people who didn't want [him] to be there".
Meanwhile, Cloud 9 are bolstering their bot lane as a whole since it's not only Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen joining as the marksman but also Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme as the new support, meaning Zeyzal's future is uncertain as well.
There is currently no more information on what changes Cloud 9 might implement before the next season but then again, they didn't announce the marksman replacement yet either.
