Silent Hill and Gravity rush creator Keiichiro Toyama is working on a brand new game, which will be a horror action-adventure, aiming to release sometime in 2021.
Silent Hill fans are waiting to hear more about the rumoured Silent Hills PlayStation 5 exclusive for quite some time now but sadly, the official announcement is yet to come. Many fans hoped that the legendary creator of the franchise Keiichiro Toyama will return to work on the game but it looks like that won't be the case since Toyama is busy with a debut game from his new studio - Bokeh Game Studio.
Toyama has today revealed more details about this project, confirming that the game is a brand new horror-themed action-adventure which is currently in development, aiming for a release sometime 2023.
The director said that the game will appease to fans of his previous work which is certainly something that hardcore Silent Hill fans were waiting to hear. Though, we're not really sold on the genre. Horror action-adventure is not quite a survival horror game but let's wait for the first gameplay before we jump to any conclusions.
The development team that is currently busy with the game is described as fairly large and the lead platform is PC at the moment. However, the team want to bring the game to as many console platforms as possible.
Additionally, the devs will share some peeks behind the scenes on their social media accounts in the future.
