Capcom's brand new action-adventure IP Pragmanta which is announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC could be coming earlier than expected. The game's PS Store page suggests 2021 release date, not 2022 as confirmed earlier.
Pragmanta had one of the best-looking trailers at Sony's PlayStation 5 event earlier this year and it's safe to say that it attracted even more attention once it was revealed that Capcom plan to bring the game to all major platforms including PC and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is still a long way off as Capcom confirmed they are aiming for a 2022 release but it appears that the wait won't be as long as we expected initially. Over at the PlayStation Store, Pragmata's game page briefly suggested that the game will be available in 2021 but the year was quickly changed to 2021.
To be honest, this does seem like just a simple human error since the year was quickly reverted and in this case, it doesn't look like there's more to it than that. It's hard to say when exactly the game will release since Capcom did not give us any indication whether they are aiming early, mid or late 2022.
With COVID-19 pandemic still causing all sorts of issues for development teams, we would not get our hopes up for a release early in 2022. According to some insiders, Capcom already had to delay some games internally due to the pandemic, so it's safe to say the development process is not going quite smoothly in 2020.
Hopefully, though, we will be back to normal very soon.
