ID Software's and Avalanche Studios' post-apocalyptic shooter Rage 2 will be available for free on Epic Games Store from February 18 to February 25, 2021.
It's safe to say that Rage 2 was not received as well as Bethesda and id Software hoped it would be, especially after the huge marketing campaign that followed the game prior to its release. However, it's certainly a game that can be fun to consume in short bursts.
Its open world is huge and jam-packed with action so if you're looking for a game that has plenty of guns, explosion and mayhem, Rage 2 could itch that scratch. And the best thing about Rage 2? Well, soon, you will be able to download it for free on PC and keep it forever.
The game will be available for free on Epic Games Store , who offer various freebies to players on a weekly basis. The free period will kick off on next Thursday, February 18, 2021 and you will be able to download it until February 25, 2021, when the next free game will replace Rage 2.

Of course, once you add the game to your library, Rage 2 is yours forever. However, if you miss the opportunity to get it between the mentioned date, then, you'll have to wait for another promo, which probably won't be coming anytime soon since Epic Games Store freebies are rarely repeated.
