Bethesda's shooter game that is still fully priced at most storefronts is free to keep on Epic Games Store and it would be quite the range if one were to miss picking this one up.

Rage 2 has been received somewhat positively but certainly didn't have a stellar start. It seems like the trend will continue with the upcoming DLC, Rise of the Ghosts that is due on 26 September 2019 that will cost roughly $15/ €15/~ £12.

Avalanche Studios have released another update for their post-apocalyptic shooter Rage 2. The update introduces New Game Plus feature, Ultra Nightmare difficulty and Ironman mode. Also, there's a new voice pack featuring B.J. Blazkowicz.

QuakeCon will have Doom Eternal live gameplay

Bethesda have posted a detailed schedule of this year's QuakeCon and in honour of Doom's 25th anniversary, it will be called QuakeCon: Year of Doom. Among its features are the first live gameplay demo of Doom Eternal, Fallout 76 and more.

Rage 2 new modes coming with Update 3

Bethesda announced that Rage 2 Update 3 will land on 25 July 2019 and will bring plenty of additions aimed at increasing replayability and adding quality of life improvements. New Game + is definitely one of the more exciting announcements.

Rage 2 Rise of the Ghost content revealed

Bethesda, id Software and Avalanche Studios are already aiming to release more Rage 2 content even though the game itself came out only a month before the announcement. The expansion will be called Rise of the Ghosts and will feature mechs.

Rage 2, the freshly launched shooter by Avalanche and Bethesda, has enjoyed mixed results in the physical sales department in the UK, as the game managed to end Days Gone's 3-week stay at the top but failed to live up to the original sales.

Avalanche Studios' shooter Rage 2 launches tomorrow, 14 May 2019, but the dev went ahead and posted the roadmap, or content calendar if you will, that does a good job outlining the game's content updates all the way up to autumn of 2019.

BFG 9000 in Rage 2 lies behind a paywall

BFG 9000 is a legendary weapon from the Doom series and id Software decided to go with a bit of a crossover by including the weapon in Rage 2. The latest trailer, however, showed that the weapon will be exclusive to Digital Deluxe Edition.
