Niantic have shared their Pokemon Go plans for February 2020. Several new events are awaiting players and one of the biggest ones will be Valentine's Day celebrations, which will officially run from Friday, 14 February at 8:00 AM to Monday, 17 February 2020 at 10:00 PM local time.

During the event, there will be plenty of special activities and Pink Pokemon will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, in Eggs and as Field Research encounters.

On top of this, Valentine's Day event will see Audino, the Hearing Pokemon make his debut in Pokemon Go. Audino will be joined by Alomomola, the Caring Pokemon, who will also appear in the game for the first time ever.

Also, regular Lure Modules will last six hours and you will receive a 2x Catch Candy bonus. Those who are lucky enough might hatch Shiny Happiny or find Shiny Chansey in the wild.

Valentine's Day 2020 Raid Day

Lickitung will be in four-star raids and know Body Slam. You will receive up to five Raid Passes at no cost during the event just by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Unfortunately, you will not be able to hold more than one of these Raid Passes at once and they will not be available after the event comes to an end. Last but not least, lucky ones may encounter Shiny Lickitung.

Raid day starts on 15 February from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
