As expected, Naughty Dog's action adventure The Last of Us Part II is the hottest game on the PlayStation Store in the month of June. Modern Warfare and FIFA 20 performed strongly, as well.
Just yesterday, The Last of Us Part II won Players' Choice award and today, Naughty Dog have another reason to celebrate.
Their long-awaited title has also taken top honours in the monthly PlayStation Store download charts for the month of June.
The Last of Us Part II was the most popular title in both Europe and Canada/USA.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, FIFA 20, and Grand Theft Auto V also performed strongly, filling out the top four spots on both the US and EU lists.
As for the VR lists, the usual suspect Beat Saber took the top spot for PS VR in EU, while the gladiator simulator GORN is the most downloaded title in USA/Canada.
Activision's free to play battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone topped both regions' free-to-play charts for June, which does not come as a surprise since Warzone is the hottest battle royale in the world at the moment.
The second and third spot on the free to play list are also reserved for battle royale games. Fortnite and Apex Legends continue to closely follow their rival.
Fortnite – The Yellowjacket Pack and Fortnite – The Iris Pack are the most popular DLC downloads in both regions.
