Sony's next PS5 event where they plan to talk more about the console and also potentially reveal another lineup of games could be scheduled for early September 2020, according to reliable insider Dusk Golem.
Both Sony and Microsoft are yet to officially reveal the prices of their respective next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. And while some insiders claimed that Sony are planning a big PlayStation 5 event for August 2020, where they would finally reveal the price, it is safe to say that won't be happening since we're waving goodbye to August in just a couple of days.
This PlayStation 5 event, which Sony planned for August has seemingly been pushed to September and judging by the latest info from reliable insider Dusk Golem, it won't be long before Sony announce the date for the event.
In his latest tweets, Dusk Golem offered some interesting details on games that which should be revealed pretty soon where he also briefly mentioned the PlayStation 5 event. "A PS5 event first half of September," he wrote.
As you can see in the tweet, there's also some information on Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Switch port, something Shenmue related and a couple of bits on Resident Evil: Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Dusk Golem is known as someone who has knowledge of Capcom-developed and published games so it would not surprise us if his sources are right once again.
Anyway, the rumoured PlayStation 5 event, which is now apparently happening sometime in the first half of September, should be packed with talk about the console, new games and of course, the price, which many fans are waiting to hear.
PlayStation 5 should launch within the week commencing November 13.
