Next Halo Infinite flight is open to all players; here's how to do download and play

343 Industries have confirmed that the next Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview will be free to everyone who wants to jump in and try the game.

We had a lot of fun with Halo Infinite multiplayer technical test over the weekend and will surely jump in again in just a couple of days when developer 343 Industries will be hosting another test but this time, open to all.

If you would like to join thousands of Halo Insiders to play Halo Infinite before the official launch, which is still a couple of months away, you can do that by downloading the build from the Xbox Insider Hub app on your PC (Microsoft Store) or Xbox console.

343 Industries state that this technical test is open to all players which means that you can download and play the game this weekend even if you never signed up to be Halo Insider.

The next Halo Infinite multiplayer technical test will go live on October 1 with the end date set for October 3, 2021. 

Here are the test details:

  • Thursday evening, September 30:
    • Flight access turns on
    • Training Mode and Weapon Drills become available
  • Friday, October 1 at 10 AM - 2 PM & 5 PM - 9 PM PT: Matchmaking available
  • Saturday, October 2 at 10 AM - 2 PM & 5 PM - 9 PM PT: Matchmaking available
  • Sunday, October 3 at 10 AM - 2 PM & 5 PM -9 PM PT: Matchmaking available
  • Sunday, October 3 at 9 AM PT: Surveys go out to a portion of Halo Insiders
  • Monday, October 4 at 10 AM PT: Flight access closes
