Saddle up for an unforgettable adventure, filled with mythical monsters, brave characters, and ominous mysteries on Switch and PC, with the dates, announced.

For those of us who are interested, yet have not been up to date on the game, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, as is its full name, is a spinoff in the Monster Hunter series. You play as the grandson of Red, a legendary Rider. The story begins with a fateful encounter with Ena, a Wyverian girl who has been entrusted with an egg with the potential to hatch into a legendary Rathalos which could wreak havoc if awakened to its destructive power.

The plot may sound cliche, but there is a reason cliches have become exactly that. If executed correctly, they are a timeless classic which is sure to bring us through an emotional, as well as action-packed, adventure.

The launch trailer confirms the date of release as of July 9, 2021.

The trailer itself was a sneak peek into the story of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, one that is emotionally charged, in a backdrop of stunning vistas. Epic battles amongst riders and their mounts, taking place all over the in-game world.

Aside from that, the trailer also gives us further dates, containing free updates to the game. First of those being July 15, which will bring a new mount, called Palamute, into the game. A majestic four-legged beast, for any noble rider.
