Activision have added a brand new, Australian-themed bundle to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in-game store. Players have asked Activision to donate the earned money to charities helping to stop the fire spread in Australia.
Activision and Infinity Ward have updated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's in-game store with a brand new bundle that can be purchased with real-world money or COD points that are earned through the battle pass. Named Outback, the bundle includes several, Australian-themed items such as Bushranger operator skin for D-Day, a cute Koala charm for your weapon named Killoala and Tasmanian Devil sticker Try Harder. You can see the full package in the image below.
Shortly after the bundle went live, players on Reddit came up with a brilliant idea. They suggest that money earned from Outback bundle should be donated to those who are helping to stop the fire spread in Australia. Reddit user Gazoob wrote in that at the moment has over 30k upvotes: "All the money earned from the outback bundle should be donated to charities helping to stop the fire spread and Australia"
Other Redditors support the idea and have suggested that a direct tweet to Activision and the devs would be the best way to spread the message. They already have a couple of tweets with the important hashtags and mentions and you can help by retweeting .
As you may know, Australia is being ravaged by the worst wildfires seen in decades, with large swathes of the country devastated since the fire season began in July 2019. More than 2,000 homes have been completely destroyed or severely damaged while 27 people have died.
If you're willing to donate you can do that directly on or here to help .
