Microsoft's plan is to get to a point of releasing a new first-party exclusive on Game Pass every quarter, head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty said in the recent media briefing.

Today, Microsoft have reiterated their commitment to making great games for Xbox Game Pass and other services like xCloud, which is getting some big improvements very soon. Speaking about the first-party games, the head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty, has revealed some great news for all Xbox fans who have been waiting years for strong lineup of exclusive content.

According to Booty, the ultimate goal is to have one game release each quarter, meaning that Xbox could have at least four exclusives every year.

"With more than 23 studios worldwide creating games for Xbox, our goal is to release at least one new, first-party game into Game Pass every quarter. Role playing games, shooters, strategy titles, adventure games, and more are all being built by our first party teams to ensure that there is a steady stream of compelling exclusive content to explore," Booty said.
