Remedy have provided an update on their in development projects including Max Payne 1 and 2 remasters, which are still in the concept stage and won't be released anytime soon.
Recently announced remakes of the iconic shooter Max Payne 1 and 2, which will be helmed by the original dev team Remedy Entertainment are very early in development and won't be releasing anytime soon, Remedy have confirmed.
Remedy say that they are very excited to bring this shooter series to new and old gamers with enhanced visuals and new features. Though, that will take some time, since both titles are still in the concept stage, meaning that the team are currently still talking about where they want to go with these games and how Max Payne 1 and 2 should look, feel and play.
"The public reception to this announcement was overwhelmingly positive. Max Payne clearly has a special place in the hearts of not only Remedians but gamers across the globe. We are very excited to bring the remade game for old and new fans alike." Remedy say in the latest blog post .
Max Payne 1 and 2 are developed in partnership with Rockstar Games, who own the Max Payne IP. Rockstar released Max Payne 3 years ago but since then, the franchise has been shelved as the company is focusing on other IPs like Red Dead Redemption and GTA.
