League of Legends KeSPA Cup has a somewhat unique format as it's group knockout as opposed to round-robin and then knockout stage. We put together the starting date and time for each stage of the tournament as well as knockout group list.

KeSPA Cup will kick off on 23 December 2019 and actually wrap up in the early days of the next year, on 5 January 2020. The first round of 16 will actually be a qualification round for the playoffs where the top four teams from the last season will await the four that qualify. While the teams are branched out into four groups, all matchups are knockout based.

One of the most prominent teams from the Round of 16 are Afreeca Freecs who will face Rockhead, APK Prince and Brion Blade in a bid for a playoff spot.

KT Rolster and Hanwha Life will most likely meet in qualifying finals of their group with Ulsan and ESC Ever also attempting to reach the next stage.

Gen.G will face GC Busan Ascension in the first round, with chances to meet Team Dynamics or Asura, depending on who qualifies from that duel.

DragonX are most likely to cause hype in the tournament given their troubles after Griffin incident which may still impact the team's coach, cvMax and even the top laner Doran. They will face Chungnam in the first round and Jin Air Greenwings or Spear Gaming in the qualifying finals.

Once that stage is complete, the four teams that qualify will have a chance to meet each other in playoff quarterfinals. T1 and Damwon Gaming each have a guaranteed spot and will meet one of the teams that reach that stage. Meanwhile, Griffin and Sandbox Gaming have spots in quarterfinals but they will face each other.
