Here's everything you need to know about Halo Infinite's long-awaited Season 2, which is introducing new maps, battle pass and more.
Halo Infinite's Season 1 has been quite the drag but we're getting closer and closer to its end and the successor - Season 2 - which is set to introduce a bunch of fresh content for players who have been eagerly awaiting for the new stuff.
343 Industries revealed in one of their recent blog posts that Halo Infinite Season 2 will introduce new maps, modes, and customisation options so here's a simple breakdown of everything announced so far regarding Halo Infinite Season 2.
Halo Infinite Season 2 release date
343 Industries officially confirmed that Halo Infinite Season 2 will launch on May 3, 2022.
As things stand, Season 2 will not see any delays but as always with game development, nothing is set in stone until we get closer to the launch.

Halo Infinite Season 2 name and theme
Season 2 will be named "Lone Wolves". This is also the theme of the new season. 343 explained that by theme they mean a core idea that they are following when creating the new content.
"Lone Wolf Spartans are hunters. Trackers. They’re resourceful improvisers, operating deep in enemy territory without resupply or support. They’re fierce, rugged, and prefer to work alone—but they’re still loyal to the Spartan pack."
Here are some Lone Wolf Spartans:
343 reiterate that not all Season 2 content will be linked to the Lone Wolves theme. You can expect a lot of different cosmetics and customisation options once the new season drops.
Halo Infinite Season 2 maps
Halo Infinite will be getting two new maps with Season 2. One of them is the Big Team Battle map named "Breaker". You can check it out in the concept art below:
The second map is called "Catalyst" and it's an Arena map. Here's an official concept art:
Halo Infinite Campaign co-op
Sadly, Halo Infinite's co-op mode has been delayed once again and will not launch with the release of Season 2 on May 3, 2022. 343 say they need more time to make this a truly great experience for all players, therefore they will be delaying it to a later date in Season 2.
