This week's UK boxed sales chart has been slightly reshuffled compared to the last week, albeit God of War has no intention of vacating that pole position. Interestingly enough, Donkey Kong came in second, despite being a Wii U port.
God of War is holding strong in spite of the seemingly severe sales drop of 56 per cent. Nevertheless, this is common for singleplayer titles and as it stands, Sony haven't held the first spot for three weeks since The Last of Us: Remastered back in 2014. Apparently, lack of new releases this week means Kratos should stay put at least for another week.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze originally came out for the Wii U back in 2014, so it's not technically a new release. Nevertheless, it happens to be the only release in the past week and its physical sales reportedly account for 17 per cent of the original's total sales in the UK.
Far Cry 5 is down one spot from the week before but it's still going strong. In fact, Ubisoft revealed that the fifth instalment in their hit franchise is the best selling Far Cry so far.
FIFA 18 and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe remain where they are for the second week running. Nintendo's Labo: Variety Pack dropped out of top 10 pretty quickly. The Robot version did even worse, dropping out of Top 40 completely.
The superhero movie craze is in full swing and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 capitalised on it big time, as the game jumped six places and now sits sixth. Fallout 4 and PUBG moved a spot down and up, respectively, with Super Mario Odyssey doing the same, dropping from ninth to spot number 10.
Interestingly enough, Star Wars Battlefront II jumped from position number 11 to ninth, most probably fuelled by movie hype. Nevertheless, we're sure EA won't mind. You can find the full list below.
